DETERGENT LID RATTLE
Materials:- 2 detergent lids
- uncooked rice
- duct tape
- scissors
- stickers
Directions:
Put rice in one lid. Fit second lid on top and tape together. Decorate with stickers.

Help Baby to hold and shake rattle.
FABRIC RATTLE SNAKE
Materials:- rectangle of fabric
- polyester stuffing
- needle and thread
- film canister
- dried beans
- duct tape
- scissors
Directions:
Sew fabric in the tube. Put dried bean in canister and tape shut. Fill fabric tube with stuffing, then canister, then more stuffing. Sew closed.
Ideas for Play:
Help Baby explore rattle and transfer it from hand to hand.
CLEAR BOTTLE RATTLE
Materials:- clear plastic bottle
- pom-poms
- dried black beans
- duct tape
- scissors
Directions:
Put colorful pom-poms, black beans inside plastic bottle. Tape lid on.
Ideas for Play:
Drop Baby's rattle from tray and help Baby to find it.
MILK CHUG RATTLE
Materials:- plastic milk chug bottle w/cover
- scraps of ribbon and fun foam
- glue
- duct tape
- dried split peas
Directions:
Put peas in container and tape cover on. Decorate container with ribbon and pieces of fun foam.
Ideas for Play:
Engage Baby in a game of "knock'em down and pick'em up.
